Our Story

Kline Interiors is a Chicago based full-service interior design firm rooted in clarity, intention and craftsmanship. Formerly haywoodmade interiors, the studio was shaped by a deep respect for structure, makers, and the quiet discipline behind meaningful work. Guided by a belief that the most enduring homes are designed for real life, Kline Interiors creates spaces that balance beauty and function with a calm, collaborative approach and a focus on design that feels considered, personal, and quietly confident.

Kline Interiors serves Chicago and beyond with a focus on new build and whole home renovation work.

CONSTRUCTION

New Build

From blueprint to move-in, we collaborate with your architect and builder to ensure every detail serves both beauty and function. We love joining early—when design decisions can shape how a home truly comes together.

Full Renovation

Transforming existing spaces from the inside out. We reimagine kitchens, bathrooms and living areas down to the studs—balancing structure, light and livability to breathe new life into an existing home

Partial Renovation

For focused updates that still make a profound impact on livability. From custom millwork and cabinetry to redefined layouts, we elevate what’s already there without requiring full construction or permitting.

We have found that the most successful projects utilize collaborative teams, which include the client, a specialty contractor like ourselves, and a designer, architect, and/or custom builder. Design professionals play a pivotal role in executing custom projects by transforming thoughts and ideas into actionable plans. If you have not yet enlisted the services of a design professional, we can either recommend a trusted industry partner or, if appropriate, provide design services directly.
