Door Country Luxury Retreat

Longtime clients first came to us in 2022 as they began imagining a new build in Ephraim, Wisconsin. A home meant to feel both restorative and enduring. Their tastes naturally leaned in opposite directions and our role became one of translation: creating a shared language that honored each perspective while shaping a cohesive whole. Sustainability was central from the start, guiding choices toward natural finishes and durable furnishings designed to age gracefully over decades of use.

We approached the project holistically, blending familiar character with quiet modernity and studying the floor plan as carefully as the finishes. Every outlet, light switch, and sightline was intentionally placed to support daily rituals—morning light in the kitchen, effortless circulation for gatherings, and the kind of comfort that never asks for attention but is always felt.

The result: a deeply personal home that lives easily. One where nothing feels too precious, yet everything feels considered.
