For this historic Evanston home, the brief was clear: embrace color, pattern, and texture without hesitation. Our client welcomed a sense of playfulness, trusting the process and allowing each room to carry its own moment of personality.

Rather than treating bold choices as accents, we used them as structure—layering wallpaper, textiles, and finishes to give the home depth and rhythm. Whimsy appears in thoughtful doses, balanced by restraint, in order for the spaces to feel collected rather than themed.
